INSIDE THE VINYL VEIN is a podcast currently underway in its development . focusing on artists from different scenes, breaking down who they are, what drives their music and what sets them apart . Each episode will attempt to go beyond the surface level and expose the harsh reality of what it takes to be or cut it as a working musician in Southern California and beyond.
We want to highlight the stories behind the sound, the grind behind the stage, the outtakes ...the funny moments.. the band mate banter...and the connections that keep the music scene alive. This podcast and its makers need support and exposure as our journey progresses just the same as any band or entertainer...collaboration, networking and finding sponsorships to foster and grow local music is essential more than ever not just for the musician.. but for the fans, audiences music lovers and listeners too..if we don't support local music and venues to play in, in our own neighborhoods...then we lose it !!

I grew up in La Jolla, Ca. I spent 17 years working in the medical & dental fields. Over the years I performed in two Christian rock bands and always continued pursuing music. Today, I am the lead singer and lyricist of an alternative rock band RENETTE and currently recording my first record with another music project. I am the booking manager, promoter and creative force behind McGuffie's live in San Diego through SHANDAWG PRODUCTIONS76. This project, INSIDE THE VINYL VEIN, was created from my passion for discovering incredible artists, supporting musicians, and helping shine a spotlight on the raw talent within the vast music scene.

Don't underestimate this Gal, I might come across as a typical loud mouth Australian and as useful as a screen door on a submarine but I've got 30 years in the music industry working my way thru the trenches and surviving to tell the stories... now I'm coming for yours...get ready for some laugh out loud comedy moments ...I use my sharp satirical wit and obsessive audiophile knowledge to shoot questions across the deck no one has thought to ask !!
